Our Mission
Guided by scripture, the mission of Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church is to reveal God's love through Jesus Christ to all people, and to nurture spiritual development through worship, fellowship, Christian education and mission outreach.

Our Church
Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church had its beginnings in 1959 as a four-family weekly meeting with Rev. Walter Maude, Presbytery Executive in Gainesway of South Lexington. Chapel Hill Presbyterian was formally organized in 1961, and the church building at our current location on 3534 Tates Creek Road was constructed four years later.

In the ensuing years, the Tates Creek area has grown significantly and so has Chapel Hill. In 1988, our church underwent an expansion with the construction of a new sanctuary, fellowship hall addition and steeple. Subsequently, our church experienced its biggest growth in it's history. More recently, another more extensive expansion has been completed. Our membership currently stands around 215 members. Our mission and budget continue to increase. Recent church newsletters are available online.  Members can download the church lists of contact information and the pictorial directory.

We are delighted to provide you some information about our church and services. You can contact us at the email address at the top of this page, or call us at the church office at (859) 272-2311.
